A master's thesis at the College of Nursing, University of Kirkuk, discussed "Nursing Competencies in Cancer Patient Care in Kirkuk City: A Cross-Sectional Study." The thesis, presented by student Hamdiya Daham Mohammed, aimed to measure the standards of nursing care practice in the field of oncology and the competencies of nurses working in this specialty within the city. The thesis concluded that nursing staff demonstrated an overall average level of self-competence, while their level of adherence to scientific standards was low. This indicates that adherence to scientific standards of care remains weak.
