Scholarship Application Steps

  1. Create an account on the Study in Iraq portal.
  2. Log in and complete your personal profile.
  3. Upload all required documents.
  4. Select the University of Kirkuk and your preferred programme.
  5. Submit your application for review.

Study Channels

  1. Fully Funded Scholarships.
  2. Partially Funded Scholarships.
  3. Self-Funded Study.

General Admission Principles

  1. The applicant must be born to non-Iraqi parents.
  2. The applicant must not hold Iraqi nationality.
  3. The applicant shall undertake not to apply for Iraqi citizenship.
  4. Scholarship recipients are not entitled to government employment privileges.
  5. Applicants not selected for the fully funded track may request consideration for partially funded or self-funded admission.
  6. The scholarship may be extended for a higher degree if the student achieves Very Good coursework results and Excellent in the thesis defence.
  7. The applicant must satisfy the GPA and age requirements for the fully funded channel.

Study Channels

  1. Fully Funded Scholarships (Undergraduate & Postgraduate).
  2. Partially Funded Scholarships (Undergraduate & Postgraduate).
  3. Self-Funded Study (Undergraduate & Postgraduate), subject to age requirements.

Required Documents

  1. Secondary School Certificate for Bachelor's applicants.
  2. Secondary School and Bachelor's certificates for Master's applicants.
  3. Bachelor's and Master's certificates for Ph.D. applicants.
  4. Master's thesis in PDF format for Ph.D. applicants.
  5. Passport valid for at least six months.
  6. Official document proving the applicant's family origin.
  7. Recent passport-size photo with a white background.
  8. Signed declaration confirming the accuracy of the submitted information and non-application to another programme.
  9. An authenticated International Health Certificate after admission.

Note: All documents must be issued in Arabic or English and include official academic transcripts.

After Admission

  1. The University initiates the student entry visa application through the Iraqi Ministry of Interior.
  2. The issued visa is sent to the student and circulated to Iraqi border authorities.
  3. The student arranges travel after coordinating with the University.
  4. Family members may apply for entry visas through the Iraqi Embassy in the student's country.
