A master's thesis at the College of Education for Pure Sciences at Kirkuk University discussed the application of certain physical treatments to chicken manure and their impact on soil fertility in cultivated plants.
The thesis, submitted by researcher Ibtisam Abdulkarim, aimed to evaluate the effect of chicken manure treated with sifting and soaking, compared to untreated manure, on soil fertility and the growth of watercress, celery, leeks, and parsley in two locations within the Al-Zab district during the 2025–2026 winter season.
