The master's thesis at the Faculty of education for pure sciences discussed the effect of some polymers coated with various nanoparticles from medicinal plants" and the thesis presented by researcher Iman Bayram dealt with the preparation of magnetic iron oxide nanoparticles (Fe3O4) by the co-deposition method, using apricot kernel extracts (cold aqueous, hot aqueous, and alcoholic) as natural reducing agents, then coating them with ketosan to improve biostability, and using apricot kernel extracts (cold, hot, alcoholic). The letter concluded that all nanoparticles possess remarkable inhibitory efficacy, but the highest antibacterial efficacy was recorded for ketosan-coated particles prepared with hot aqueous extract.
