A master's thesis at the Faculty of science at the University of Kirkuk discussed the preparation of nanooxides and the study of their effect on the properties of epoxy. The thesis presented by the student Khalil Taher Ali Sheikhan dealt with the preparation of nanoparticles of iron oxide (Fe2O3) and magnesium oxide (MgO) by chemical deposition method, and studying their impact on the structural, mechanical, and thermal properties of epoxy material, with a view to employing them in multiple industrial applications such as the manufacture of prostheses, car bodies, and jamming devices due to their light weight and high resistance to loads and shocks.
