The College of Medicinal and Industrial Plants at Kirkuk University participated in organizing the International Conference on Agricultural Technologies and Sustainability (ICAT 2026), in collaboration with the College of Agriculture at Tikrit University and with the participation of researchers and academics from both within and outside Iraq.Professor Dr. Khalid Khalil Ahmed, Dean of the College of Medicinal and Industrial Plants, emphasized that organizing and participating in international scientific conferences reflects the academic standing the College strives to establish. He noted that such events open new horizons for research collaboration and knowledge exchange in the fields of agricultural technologies and sustainability, affirming the College's continued support for researchers and its active participation in local and international scientific forums.Held under the theme "Towards Innovative Agriculture... For a Sustainable Future," the conference addresses the latest agricultural technologies and innovations, as well as ways to leverage them to achieve sustainability and develop the agricultural sector. It also aims to foster scientific cooperation and the exchange of expertise among researchers and academic institutions.
