Department of Science and Technology Parks
The Department of Science and Technology Parks is one of the key components supporting the University's innovation, entrepreneurship, and knowledge-transfer ecosystem. It works to create a university environment that fosters creativity and innovation, supports students, researchers, and graduates in developing their ideas and projects, and connects scientific outputs and human capabilities with the needs of the labor market and society.
Through an integrated system of specialized divisions, the Department works to transform knowledge, ideas, and innovations from their early stages into viable projects, products, and employment opportunities, strengthening the University's role in economic and social development.

Four Divisions Working as an Integrated System
The specialized divisions form an interconnected system supporting innovation, entrepreneurship, career development, and the commercialization of scientific outputs.
Technology Incubator and Ecosystem Division
This division incubates and supports entrepreneurial and technology-based ideas and projects, provides guidance and consulting, assists with feasibility studies and business models, and connects project owners with funding sources, support organizations, and investors.
Training and Employment Division
This division enhances students' and graduates' readiness for the labor market through training and skills development, links university outcomes with institutions and companies, and supports career development and self-employment.
Scientific Outputs Marketing Division
This division promotes scientific and research outputs and innovations, connects researchers and innovators with beneficiaries and the private sector, and helps move outputs from the academic environment into practical application.
Entrepreneurship Division
This division promotes a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation, develops entrepreneurial skills through training programs, workshops, seminars, competitions, and events, and supports entrepreneurial ideas and projects.

Toward an Entrepreneurial University Generation
The Entrepreneurship Division aims to promote and strengthen a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation among University students and graduates, support entrepreneurs and project owners, and transform creative ideas into viable projects with economic and social impact.
The Division offers training programs, workshops, and specialized seminars in creative thinking, project management, marketing, financial management, feasibility studies, and project planning. It is also linked to the Riyada Initiative and delivers the Project Plan Development program.
The Division also focuses on knowledge-economy projects and strengthens cooperation with government institutions, the private sector, and organizations that support entrepreneurship.

Commercialization & Knowledge Transfer
The Scientific Outputs Marketing Division was established within the organizational structure pursuant to Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research letter No. 1337 dated 14 May 2021.
The Division focuses on expanding opportunities to benefit from scientific and applied outputs, contributing to solutions for real-world problems, and supporting national development efforts.
Follow up the commercialization process for applied scientific outputs using designated forms.
Encourage researchers to address real-world problems across different sectors.
Leverage the capabilities of academic staff with innovative and applied expertise.
Facilitate patent procedures, the preparation and translation of textbooks and supporting academic materials, and provide researchers with adequate support.
Follow the stages of transforming scientific output from research into application, production, and commercialization.
Engage with relevant entities across different sectors to explore opportunities to sponsor research projects.
Commercialize scientific outputs between the producing and beneficiary parties through a dedicated agreement in accordance with applicable regulations and instructions.
