A master's thesis at the College of Education for Humanities at Kirkuk University discussed the impact of glass on Al-Alusi's linguistic interpretations in his exegesis "Ruh al-Ma'ani" (The Spirit of Meanings). The thesis, by student Catherine Salar Amin, comprised three chapters examining the phonological, morphological, syntactic, and semantic levels. It adopted some opinions that discussed these interpretations in the texts of the authors, exploring the arguments presented therein, whether they agreed or disagreed, in order to serve these scholarly issues. The thesis included interpretations and analyses of Quranic and poetic evidence and examples.
