The thesis, submitted by researcher Mohammed Fathi Mohammed, aimed to examine the legal and jurisprudential nature of jointly owned property, clarify its legal character, and explore the provisions governing joint ownership in Iraqi civil law. It also examined the mechanism for dissolving joint ownership through partition and the effect of filing a lawsuit to dissolve joint ownership on a partner's ownership of their shared share.
