A master's thesis at the University of Kirkuk’s College of Nursing examined the knowledge and practices of nurses regarding the care of patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy at Fallujah Teaching Hospital.The thesis, presented by researcher Shahd Abdul-Malik Dalf, aimed to identify the demographic characteristics and professional backgrounds of the nursing staff, assess their knowledge regarding pre- and post-operative patient care, evaluate their practices, and determine the correlation between that knowledge and those practices.The study concluded that the nurses possessed a good level of knowledge regarding the care of patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy and found a strong positive correlation between their knowledge and their practices.
